Some of these I don't have any idea of what they are/mean [milk-toast?] and I think I'm better off. Some things are offensive in today's social arena. For example, mentioning that someone has a vanagon at a Porsche Club meeting. And then some things have been taken to the ridiculous. More examples than I care to mention, but hyphenated Americans comes immediately to mind.
