I have to concur - when I brought the Syncro home last year, out came the Skil saw, and off came about 4" of carport... :-)

Granted, a garage will be a bit trickier, but it is not too tough to have custom doors made... (Hey you knew when you bought a Syncro you were making a serious life commitment, right?) :-)

Hey, same problem I've been trying to fix for 3 years. Bet up the house, not your syncro. Dig out the floor, or raise the door, but keep yor hands off the Syncro.
