I'm sitting here staring at a 2wd CARAT front spring, and a standard spring from my '89 SyncroBeast. The ONLY difference, an I do mean the only difference, is that the CARAT spring is about 1 inch shorter, and the diameter of the wire is just ever so much thicker.

I've posted the dimensions of the CARAT springs and Syncro springs to the list before, I recall that the CARAT is about 1" shorter, but since it's also a bit stiffer (I think), I expect that the stiffness will offset the 1" shorter by a bit.

I don't see ANY reason for the front to raise 3 to 4 inches when I install the CARAT spring in the Syncro. The CARAT spring is shorter, not longer, than the Syncro spring.

And they wont fit up front, actually if you get them to fit in the front, I guess you would raise the front end 3-4". You see, the Syncro has spring perches up front, while the 2wd rests its springs on the suspension arm.
