You've got it! Replace both the master and the slave while you are at it, inexpensive parts from the list vendors and not a difficult job. The master is bad or there would be probably be a leak at the slave, but why do the job again in a few months? Since the reservoir is common (but divided) for the brakes and clutch, consider flushing out the brakes with new fluid too. This should be done every two years since brake fluid absorbs moisture.

I use an inexpensive device called "Eezi Bleed," (made by those clever Brits) which I got from Moss Motors (http://mossmotors.com). It is a pressure bleeding system that makes quick work out of the job of bleeding brakes and clutches. (Uses air pressure from a tire.)
