Are you joking, or what? I've removed head studs. As the matter of fact I have a few that he can have. No need to remove the engine or split the case. A mig welder can weld to the remaining stud, and the heat will help loosen it for removal. Even with the piston/cyl. in place. Just need the right tools and know how to use them.
