Hi Scott,

I used to have that problem every fall thru winter. Finally pryed open my wallet and bought an aftermarket bosch ignition wire set 1 1/2 years ago. No problems so far. I tried all the same stuff, had a miserable trip thru the mountains for Xmas 2 yrs ago, that's what triggered my action. The explanation was an intermittent break in a high tension wire (probably from the distributor). Good Luck.
