I've been waiting 2 years for a German company to finish a prototype of a T1
stainless exhaust system.  They have sent me drawings and keep telling me
they are refining it.

I would make sure you can verify the product before you take any orders.

If it turns out to be unsatisfactory, you will either be stuck with the
product and out lots of cash, or you will have some upset customers.
