The wife and I spent 10 months living in our camper van touring the Canada, US, and Central America. Check our website out. http://home.earthlink.net/~keather/index.html Short of it is, we had a great time, definately not tired of "Westi Life", but my wife, being 5 months pregenant when we got to Panama (oops!) decided it was time to go home. Our original plan was 18-24 months and to include South America in our tour. >How long can you live in a camper before you blow up ? >My plan is to carefully acquire the right one, fix it up, and then take >off for a US tour, mooching from friend to relative etc. > >What's the longest trip ? I've been tent camping for years, sometimes as >long as a month... > >Lets hear it >Daisy ______________________________________________________________________________ Kevin and/or Heather Where have the years gone? Why, into the usual vices of the romantic idealist: into sloth amd melancholy, each feeding upon and reinforcing the other, into love and marriage and the begetting of children, into the strenuous maneuvers of earning a living without living to earn, into travel and play and music and drink and talk and laughter, into saving the world - but saving the world was only a hobby. Into watching cloud formations float across our planetary skies. But mostly into sloth and melancholy and I don't regret a moment of it. Edward Abbey. |
