When I did my research into what I wanted to do for my upgrades, I contacted this guy. When I did he acted as though it had not been done. He did not have any sources for pistons except one, when I called they said that they have not done any. The engine I have built has power from idle to 5K RPM. I can go UP off ramps in fifth gear and the engine at @2K RPMS. The engine does not lug in fifth until it is below 1500 RPMS. I have not switched to synthetic oil yet. When you increase the bore or stroke, the power band is moved up the RPM range. By slightly off set grinding the crank for the next over size bearing, the compression can be increased. Heat is also a problem when increasing size. Robert |
