Hello fellow listee's I have a question. I have an 84 vw vanagon wolfsburg and an 82 diesel westy now. Well the 84 is up for sale and I was trying for 850 obo but not many responses due to the fact that it needs a tranny, afm, blower motor, and exaust. Well all the rest looks good and it has a nice intererior. I recently bought my 82 diesel westy and the tranny lost fourth gear so I have been offered a trade: my 84 wolfy for a diesel tranny and installation. Should I do it...does this sound right. I thought the 84 would at least be worth 600 considering all the curtains and weekender wolfy items....I figure not too many of those have that style A/C either. Hmmm and the cordoroy interior is nice. Im not into having a van parted and I know this guy will be parting it but on the other hand I have no cash for the diesel tranny. Well just wondering what the list would do...Im not into having things parted out and my ex syncro which was also very nice was pated out by the person who bought it. Is there any use in paring it out?? Are there things anyone needs?? how much?? Thank you Tim G ------------------------------------------------------------ future sound of music starts here.
