Yes if the base oil stays intact, which synthetics tend to do, and you removed the soot by filtering, the weak link is now the additive package.

But since you top up the system with half a litre every 3000 miles when you change the TP, the additive levels stay okay.

You can see the oil analysis results here..you'll see here that the oil hasn't even gotten close to be depleted of its additives.
