Folks, my 84 will be up and running again soon IF I can locate the following part. I have searched locally since the dealer can't get one. I desparately need an accellerater linkage piece for my automatic. It is the rod that attaches onto the throttle assembly on the intake air dist. It is threaded and has a adjusting nut on it. I believe this is an auto-only part and must come from a fuel injected model. Even late loafs have it I believe if they are auto AND FI. If ANYONE can lead me to this piece, I would be SOOO grateful. It will probably be hard to find an auto, FI, with eng and tranny that is being parted and the owner will let such a small piece go. I'll buy more than this piece if necessary to get it. My vanagon needs it to get back on the road. Thanks so much! Jay
