Hello Gang,

I'm responding to a request for information on increasing the fuel delivered by our fuel injectors. I believe the question was about adding CIS.

My thought was that increasing the fuel pressure would possibly be a more likely solution. I forget why the writer was concerned about a lean condition, but he was.

Also I'd like to hear of a source for the adjustable pressure regulator, I believe Robert Lilly mentioned.

As for the maintenance, is there a recommended way of inspecting these things, or better yet bench testing them? It seems to me that I heard of VW of Canada not "guaranteeing" their motors if the owner didn't replace the injectors. Must be a reason.

Sincerely,

Mark Keller 91' Carat WLE "Lazarus"
