Hi again everyone...here is the information on my 84 wolfy vanagon. I need to sell it and would like it not to be parted out. I am down to 750/OBO(honestly offer me something) I have pictures if you would like to see them. The van is located in Suffield, CT(20 min from Hartford CT and 10 min from Springfield MA)

Ok so this is whats up with the van. It has issues such as it needs a tranny or the 3rd to 4th syncronizer fixed...that is the shifting problem. It does shift just hard or sticks some...one time it will stick for good. It also needs an exaust system, and I believe and air flow box or just the AFM(air flow meter) to be fixed. Also the front heater blower does not turn on...puts out nice heat once your moving but does not have any speeds. I used the bus in VT and was fine so I wouldnt bother fixing it. The rear heater has been changed with a bigger and extremely warm heater. It also needs some(small) rear quarter panel rust work..but not much.

So why not part out or something like that. I personally hate parting out vehicals that have not been in an accident or have frame rust. The interior is very different from other 84's. This is due to the wolfsburg, it has the newer style dash and has wolfsburg blue cordoroy interior. The exterior is also a specific wolfsburg blue color. Also it is considered a partial wolfsburg gl camper which means it has seating for seven, with a weekender bed but the A/C unit ends at the driver and passenger seats...also it has window screens, rear hatch screen, and snap up curtains all around. From what I know this setup was only on the wolfsburgs....maybe only the 84's.

So on to how to fix the van. I have a guy in MA who will sell a used tranny, clutch kit, Air flow box, and exaust for 500. He seems to be a good guy to buy from and the mechanic I go to knows him and says he never had problem with his used parts. Also the rust on the rear quarter panels...the driver side is all solid..nothing has gone through. On the passengers side there is a small quarter size hole becuase it was bondo'd at one time and it had rusted under it. It wouldnt be hard to fix. Basically if you brought all the stuff from this guy and went to Bob's VW in MA it could be all fixed up for 500parts plus approximatly 350 labor + what you pay me for the van. I am fully negotiable on the price and am down to 750/obo.

I need to sel this van so offer me something...I do not want it to be parted out. I have pictures if you'd like to see the van. Thank you for your interest.
