Daisy, I take my Westy out to the Four Corners area of the Southwest for 4 to 6 weeks every spring... often camp at the edge of high mesas with pano views of peaks and canyons... explore for Anasazi ruins... all free on BLM land. Visit the nearest town every week or 10 days for water, food, shower, junk food. After 6 weeks I am ready to come home. That's solo. With one other adult about two weeks is max for me.
