You've got to be kidding! If you don't drive some kind of truck in Texas you can't be trusted! No VW mechanic could survive down there!

Seriously, find a college town nearby, there is always someone who will at least look at a Vanagon in a college town!

Or have it hauled home, costs about $.45 to $.50 per mile. I have names of a couple of transporters if you need them.
