Well, after having fourth gear on the Syncro give it up over in Eagan and the parking brake over at the Burnsville Center I thought that most of the things that could go wrong did. But when I came out of the Standard station at Buck Hill Road and Southcross last night and saw something dripping from toward the center of the engine compartment I started thinking that I could be wrong. I put my hand in the stream falling to the asphalt with the idea that if it was cold it could be just water from puddles that had collected in the skid plate and was now leaving it. Hey, I could hope! But no, it was very warm. But at least it wasn't oil! I've had enough of that (oil leaks) to last me for another five vehicles! So now I'm stuck with no fourth gear, no parking brake, a head gasket leak, a leaking power steering rack, a front heater blower that only works on high, and a central power lock system that ignores commands from the drivers side door. Other than that everything is hunky doory! At least I won't be bored. I was wondering what I was going to do since our Boy Scout Christmas Tree Lot was over. Sorry, just had to vent. It gets very frustrating at times. But at least I don't have to worry about going to Fort Drum. That was canceled the day before yesterday.
