Per L, I just test drove a 1986 Syncro Double Cab Pickup truck. It had 225/75R15 tires. They are too large and scruff the wheel well on turns and on uneven ground. IMHO 215/75R15 is probably as large as you should go. -Larry '86 Syncro Westfalia
