The cars they picked were obviously picked from an American perspective.
How they included the VW bus, one of the most successful designs of
all-time amazes me.


If they truly want to see a bad car, look at the 3-wheeler British Bond
or Reliant. How about a car riding on solid rubber tires that you have
to kick-start by opening the hood. And you operate the wipers by
reaching out of the window and tugging a lever?


Several models of Fiat also come to mind as the most flimsy, rust-prone,
non-weatherproof, cars ever made.


Ugly? Look at almost any French citroen.


Crude? Try a Moskvitch or Trabant.
