Subject: Phinal Menu re Mock Millenium Part: all invited(F)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="x-user-defined"

Hi All and thanks to those who contributed following last week's appeal for Mock Millennium ideas: The "party" is rounding into form: In a room decorated with mock orange, ambiance provided by some synthesizer elevator music we begin the menu with: Beverages: non-alcoholic beer, non-alcoholic "champagne" or powdered milk; Instant iced tea Mock Turtle soup followed by Fake (Pollock) crab-meat salad Tofu-turkey with instant potatoes or minute rice and instant stuffing Instant rice pudding or instant tapioca or "anything with jello" for dessert Non-caffeine, non-coffee beverage with powdered milk and aspartame All of you are invited but if you come, you will find an empty house and will feel as "mocked" as many of us do with the millennium media-hype.

Happy Final Year of the 20th Century to all (after all ONE year of the 20th Century must begin with"20"); hope it's a good one! Leo Meaford ON 31665600 seconds until the New Millennium
