Well, regarding mechanics -- the local Volkswagen dealer in South San
Francisco is also the local Subaru dealer. Ron Price VW/Subaru/Mazda. Someone
at the service department said they would consider working on a Vanaru. Still
considering.

The have a great parts department. I'm afraid I can't endorse their service
department.

Wait! Did that mechanic suggestion just evaporate?
