Clutch chatter is caused by uneven pressure on the clutch due to several causes.

My first suspicion is the flywheel surface is worn to a taper. Did you check it for spec. or regrind it??? If it was regound, was the depth from the rim to the surface verified?

If the shift fork fingers get worn or are out of plane, they will not release the plate springs evenly and a chatter can result. Same can happen if the cross shaft bushings are worn.

These are other items that should be checked on every clutch job.
