When I purchase my syncro, I did not = realize that where to put the spare tire. I've only checked that it had = a spare tire and it was put at rear storage (above the engine hatch). = On my reserch, looking in the instruction manual borrowing from my = friend, I found that the spare tire can be located at rear storage, = attached left side by bracket or in front, underneath the radiator. I = have been to VW authorized dealer here in Thailand asking the question = where to put the spare tire on syncro and they said that spare tire = should be put in front of. However, in sectional picture of syncro I = have seen that the spare tire was in rear storage left hand = side.
