Try narrowing your search, or use the e-mail = method for searching - much faster and more reliable.  Send e-mail to the = listserv address.  Example:

SEARCH VANAGON variable1 AND variable2

I think you can get pretty creative with Boolean = statements, too.

You will receive a message back from Gerry with a = listing of all the messages that match.  You then send back a message to = Gerry like this:

GETPOST VANAGON item1 item2 item3 item4 =

the "items" above will be numbers that reference = the different posts

works every time for me.

The only time I use the html search engine is when = I am searching for a specific date range or a specific author (like = looking up someone's e-mail address)
