It’s not been a good month and a half for head gaskets. First = some friends of ours really overheated their minivan and warped both heads and the block = of their 3.0 Plymouth. That’s in the back yard half done because I = didn’t check the block before putting on the new heads. Then 36 hours before I had to = leave for 3 weeks for work the left head gasket blew on my Vanagon. So, I took my = wife’s Windstar. It goes through a gallon and a half of coolant on the way home = (I just got back today), and, I find a letter waiting for me from Ford stating = that it has been recalled because of headgaskets blowing. Does this have = anything to do with the trouble coming in 3’s thing?
