If you are overwhelmed by the volume of mail (it = takes a strong commitment) you can always switch to "digest = mode" which wraps all the little e-mails into several bigger = ones.

The only problem with digest mode is that it is not = html-friendly, and you will have to wade through a lot of html = gibberish to find the imbedded messages in e-mails coming from people = with html e-mail clients.  (Like *&#$* Outlook 2000 of which I = am a victim)
