Hi,

Due to the headrest and non-adjustable arm, I can only turn the driver seat 90 degrees in our 86 Westfalia. The folks at Westfalia should have put some more thought into this.

TIP: To make it slightly easier remove the springs that hold the headrest in place. When you want turn the seat, remove the headrest which allows you to recline the seat backwards by a mere one notch before it hits the door but the comfort is worth it. Remember to put the headrest back in when you go for a drive.

I was wondering if it's possible to get into what looks like a storage box behind & underneath the driver seat. In my new westy I dont seem to be able to move the seat sufficiently to open it - I assume it's the same as behind passenger seat. Also, I don't seem to be able to rotate the driver seat very much to face the rear like the passenger one can - it either hits the steering wheel or the driver door. Steve
