Yep.  That and the difference in US gallons and = Imperial gallons when comparing your mileage to a Canadian's (which I = forgot to mention earlier!)  :-)

One item that could be added to your list is the = reformulated gasoline forced upon us in California and some other = states. My former average of 18.5 to 20.5 mpg has dropped  on = average 1 to 1½ mpg since the change.
