Wow, Marshall. I am impressed and a bit jealous. I have always wanted to try a = "professional" level paint job like the one you describe, but have always been afraid of = the work involved. It must be an incredibly satisfying = feeling!It is satisfying, yes. I'll feel better when I = get the window back in, I sure hope those guys don't scratch the = paint.I think the main thing to do is to try and = figure out how to speed up the sanding - surely there are buffers one could use.I imagine the tough thing will be learning to = controlling it well - but I guess one can practice on junked fenders or = something like that.Now you'll be getting extra exercise every time = you park somewhere, because you'll be parking at the FAAAAARRRRR end of the = lot in those distant end spots. Just another added benefit of = pristine paint. :-)
Yup, truer words were = never spoken! It's gonna be tough next winter when it's -40 C.
