When I started the = brick this morning, the temp needle rose and pinned itself to the right, = triggering the flashing led temp warning light. I knew the engine was = cold, so I let it run a couple minutes to see what = happened...
it stayed up there = for two minutes, and then returned to normal operation (needle near the = low end of the gauge, rising as the temp rose over the next 5 minutes, = to the center).
So, the question is =
this: loose connector or shot sensor? I'll check connections on both =
ends...
Someone mentioned =
today that with the oil pressure sensor, the open circuit gives a high =
reading. Is the temp sensor the same?
