Your parts guy must be a complete moron.  = According to ETKA 068 103 193 A is a plug in the diesel oil pan = (M16).  Bus Depot has the right part (M14x1.5).  Fits all = Vanagon years.  The matching washer is N 013 814 9.

When I look on the busdepot.com site, I see part # N = 029 7012 for $3.95

Does anyone know if the Busdepot $4 plug will = work?
