thickens! I've removed the pod, and cleaned all of the copper contacts. =
The plug
was not fitted properly, and it seems to have solved a few little =
problems. The
oil warning light no longer comes on when the headlights are dipped or =
flashed,
the windscreen washer pump works much better (though I don't know =
why...) and
the dashboard lights are brighter than they were.
However: The temp guage still goes up.
Another thing I've noticed is that the cooling fan =
is not
switching on at all. I know the fan works, because when you put current =
across
it, it will run. Thinking of putting a switch on the dash to control it =
manually
if I can't figure out why it doesn't switch. Any Ideas? Does anyone have =
the
wire colours for the dashboard on the '83?
Regarding the bentley manual, any ideas where i =
could
get it from in the UK? I have the pocket mechanic, but the wiring =
diagram
is missing...
