I use my 89 syncro westy as a daily driver as I have for every van I've ever = owned (61 splittie, 76 loaf, 86 vanagon gl, 88 wolfie). They have all had = their problems from time to time, but have been plenty reliable for me. = To be honest though, I've never owned one with over 100K on the clock. = Except the 76... what a sweetheart that one was. So was the wolfie... = sounds like a deal to me.
