Both my power windows occasionally fail to operate = from the door switches. Since both door switches (actually 3 counting = the double on the driver side) fail concurrently I doubt the switches or = their wiring are to blame. Everything else electrical seems to operate = during those window failures. However, turning off the keyed ignition = switch, then back on (sometimes several times), usually makes the window = switches operative again - don't know if this is coincidence or some problem in = the ignition switch?. Perhaps a bad power window relay, or = thermo fuse for the power windows? Any simple way to check the relay and fuse? Thanks for the help. You folks have already helped me = get my 87 Westy back into running condition.
