I recently installed the faux = rain gutter brackets (Thule) on my '89 Westy.  It works great-- = and I'm very pleased with the outcome.  I am able to raise the top = with limited weight on the rack.  I had p-mailed some digital = pictures and may still have them hanging around the computer if you = wish....

Hi,
Has anyone put brackets on = their westy poptop to
attach Thule or Yakima type = racks?  I have a bracket
on the plastic topper of my = truck and would like to
put a similiar one on my westy = to carry my kayak and
still be able to put up the = top.
