We all drive/own vans...do you really want our opinion?  Look at t= he utility
and space of the Vanagon. What about heat and defroster in the Bug? How man= y
friends can you pile in the Bug?   What about hauling the bike ar= ound?
Watch out for pan rot in the Bug. Both should hold their value. As you
said...you really liked driving it.
