My door, bent in a front-end collision by PO has =
been
straightened so all works, except for the window glass rubbing on the =
white
plastic end / guide for the window cable. That guide attaches at =
the top
of the window opening, and should of course be out of the way of the
glass. But I don't know what it's position should be to clear and =
also
operate properly -- can't tell even with the door panel =
off.
Before I remove the other door panel to compare, could anyone who =
knows
describe the proper placement? The glass itself seems to be =
in the
proper placement, because it tracks very well all the way up and =
down. The
only problem appears to be the cable guide at the top. Has =
anyone
dealt with this or a similar cable guide problem without removing the =
motor /
cable assembly?
Thanks,
Jim Creech
