Paul, there are some others on the list who I'm sure = will respond and have gone as far as opening the heater box and working on or = replacing the fan. Bentley gives some help (instrument panel = removal, 70.5-7; front heater, 80.12-15) - if you don't have it, you'll use it on = many projects. I didn't have to go that far to repair my heater, but I = did recently open the dash and remove the heater, working on several other components. So if run into any specific questions up to the point = of splitting the heater box, send me an email and I'll be glad to = help. This is a time-consuming project, but quite possible.
