does the fuel filter mount between = the fuel tank and the electric pump or does it mount after the fuel = pump????

 

Yes. And = no.

 

It depends on the year/model.

 

Some have a prefilter (small = square white box) before the fuel pump and the large canister after the fuel pump. = My 90 Syncro has no prefilter... only the large canister filter after the fuel pump.
