I've just turned 15K on a new AVP in my '89 Westy-- = no problems to date.  It's my understanding that Jerry (Reno, NV) = regularly refurbishes his vehicles with AVP-- and he certainly spoke = highly of them at the time we were looking to purchase our van from = him.

One would hope your previous owner paid attention to = frequent oil changes throughout the break-in process, but I wouldn't = question the motor in and of itself.
