you cant fix sliding door handles when they break. they're cheap cast
pot-metal. no way to weld it. you have to get a new one, or a used one.
fyi, if anyones interested, i have 2 good slider doorhandles..fit '85-'91.
and i have a ton of the interior slider doorhandles, fit all yrs. i dont
have any of the 80-'84 exterior slider doorhandles, tho.. :<(
