The benefits of using propane for the fridge while driving are that = it cools better. The fridge on 12V is not controlled by the thermostat. If = you are sightseeing, stoping to take photos, hike, etc. and leave the van for = awhile, you don't have to keep re-starting the fridge.

I hear people drive around with the fridge running on gas. =  When I try it,
the flame goes out.  Any tips on = keeping the fridge lit while driving?
Does opening the drain (at the bottom = of the fridge) help?  Is this
