Hi all

Discovered something interesting the = other day. When I open my heater control, the engine temperature drops = substantially. It appears that the heater control is a valve which = stops the circulation of engine coolant thru the heater = circuit.

This can be a very useful arrangement = because the volume of cold, stationary water in the heater pipes = appears to be enough to significantly cool the entire (?) engine in an = emergency.
