These are important as David already pointed out.  There is a list
vendor/member (also Canadian) who sells Sterbo stainless steel systems t= hat
recently posted that he had stainless steel support rods for the 1.9l. &= nbsp;
Being
stainless and essentially custom made they are probably expensive but yo= u'd
never have to replace them.  Unfortunately I've lost his web addres= s, but he
may be able to sell the rods separately.


  
          STEBRO does= indeed make these two rods from stainless steel.  Go
to our website, STEB= RO/Vanagon Stainless Steel Exhaust System, where you will
find all the details including pics of these two rods.  The rods ar= e sold
separately from our 1.9 muffler.  The 1.9 muffler comes with the ma= in rod
which is attached to the muffler via a special bracket.  There are = pics of
the whole deal on the website.  Any questions I'm here waiting !
