I find this thread amusing.  When I first started my business a few years
back, I requested people to send me money up front in the form of a check for
parts, that I would ship as soon as I recieved the money.  Praise the Lord,
there were so many of you at that time that trusted me and did business with
me in spite of this hurdle.  

Actually only every once and a while I would have a person who would question
how they would be assured of getting thier parts.  I told them that if they
didn't feel comfortable trusting me to deliver the parts for them after I had
recieved the money, then I could understand that.  I told them that I would
rather they not buy the parts from me, than buy them, and feel uncomfortable
about the deal.

Because of the trust you folks showed me at that time, my business was
allowed to grow to the point where I now take credit cards and can deliver
parts quickly.  Peter is actually where I was a few years ago as far as this
conversion selling goes.  He just got a Merchant account to take credit
cards.  His business is growing.  Perhaps if things keep going in this
direction he will start to stock an engine or two, or to accept half
payments, etc.
