It's a great place
for the air intake snorkel, so it should be a good place
for the intercooler.
If you want to force air through the intercooler, an inline fan, like a
bilge
blower, might work.
Yes, that's what I was thinking -- a blower. This reminded me of a
guy who intercooled his converted turbo diesel Rabbit Pick up. I
was just this moment sitting here wondering how he got the air to
actually *flow* through that setup, and whether he ever *knew* if the air
actually did. I mean, let's face it, just installing an intercooler
isn't going to do squat unless its actually cooling the air going into
the hole, and getting it there.
