I'm in a quandary as to whether or not = to repair the original air-conditioning system on my 1984 Vanagon. I keep = hearing conflicting reports on the effectiveness of the system even at full efficiency. It has not functioned since I owned the vehicle, so I = don't know what I'm missing. If there are any list members in the = Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex who have a Vanagon with a functional original a/c system = (mine is the type that is located just behind the driver and passenger), who = are willing to let me see firsthand how well (or not) it works, please = contact me ASAP.
