Some of you know that I have a 400 watt Air 403 wind =
turbine
that I occasionally use on my 85 Westy when I am dry camping. It's =
an
unusual rig, to say the least.
Well, yesterday, I happened to see an 85 Vanagon =
(same color
as my Westy) with a for sale sign in the window parked beside a local tv =
shop
less than a mile and a half from my house. As I stopped for a =
closer look,
my gaze shifted to a pole mounted on the building along side the =
van. And
there at the top of the pole was.... an Air 403 wind turbine!
Hmmm.... What's the cosmic significance of this?
BTW... The vanagon is for sale -- $300. I'd =
buy it if I
had a place to keep it. It's been in a flood and the engine and
transmission are pretty well shot.
