Regarding the Alternator: I just replaced it through NAPA while =
stranded
in Vancouver, WA. I was told that there are three amperages of =
alternator, but
that I must replace the alternator with the same amperage part that was =
on the
vehicle (65amp). Is this true? Since I just threw down nearly =
$200.00
on an alternator, I'm wondering if I could have installed =
a higher
amperage alternator instead? If so, I may try to get NAPA to exchange =
this part
now that I'm home.
