PULL IT OUT, AND LEAVE IT OUT. you wont have a problem.. i yanked all of that
fako plastic trim out of my window moldings, and i can stand there blasting
the seals with a pressurewasher and i've had no leaks.
ps, the blacked out look looks better anyway..
